Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the execution and enhancement of the Financial Crime Compliance framework across the EU, partnering with MLROs in the Netherlands and Lithuania to ensure compliance with local laws (Dutch Wwft, Lithuanian AML/CTF) and EU Directives (4AMLD/5AMLD/6AMLD) while aligning with global policy.
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop the FCC team across the region to handle rapid scale and cross-jurisdiction complexity.
  • •Oversee relationships with regulators (e.g., DNB, Bank of Lithuania), coordinating responses to examinations, independent reviews, and audits.
  • •Partner with the Global Head of FCC to drive strategic OKRs, strengthen the global program, and advance initiatives like MI reporting and risk appetite monitoring.
  • •Support new market entries and product launches across Europe by advising on growth with risk considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of financial crime compliance experience with significant leadership or people-management exposure.
  • •Deep expertise in European financial crime regulations, including EU AML Directives, Dutch Wwft, and Lithuanian AML/CTF frameworks.
  • •Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing compliance teams in fast-paced environments.
  • •Strong ability to engage and challenge senior internal stakeholders and external partners with a "compliance as a service" mindset.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including drafting board-level materials and complex regulatory submissions.
