Job Summary

Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for telematics and IoT-enabled HVAC solutions. You’ll lead architecture, implementation, testing, and debugging of embedded firmware and drivers, build real-time embedded software in C/C++, and integrate connectivity (CAN, Wi‑Fi, BLE, cellular, GPS). Partner with systems engineering to define requirements and validate cloud/software integration, perform code reviews, support agile/Scrum delivery, and troubleshoot complex hardware–firmware–software issues.

•Lead and participate in architecture, implementation, testing, and debugging of embedded firmware and drivers.
•Drive design, development, and maintenance of embedded software solutions for real-time applications in C/C++.
•Integrate connectivity technologies (CAN, Wi‑Fi, BLE, cellular) into embedded systems.
•Collaborate with Applications Systems Engineering to define requirements, interface specifications, and validate cloud/software integration.
•Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex system issues across hardware/firmware/software, and support product validation, field testing, and deployment as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 127,110 - 177,870 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•8+ years of hands-on experience developing embedded systems using C/C++ for real-time applications.
•Experience integrating and troubleshooting CAN, Wi‑Fi, GPS, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.x, and cellular communication; preferred exposure to OTA updates and remote device management.
•Strong experience with embedded software design, Embedded Linux (Yocto 4.x/5.x), RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
•Experience developing connected products for telematics/HVAC/automotive or industrial IoT; familiarity with cybersecurity practices for embedded platforms.
