Key Responsibilities

  • •Support commissioning and start-up activities on a major EPCM project, ensuring safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction.
  • •Lead site commissioning supervision, including P&ID checking (system check/walk-down/punching), mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, cold commissioning (dry/wet), and hot commissioning.
  • •Work with engineers and vendors during design phases to align handover and commissioning activities, troubleshooting and diagnosing/repairing faults as needed.
  • •Attend workshops and safety reviews, including P&ID hazard/model reviews and pre-start up safety reviews with the client and contractor(s).
  • •Develop and submit commissioning closeout documentation and prepare commissioning/pre-commissioning procedures, including test procedure creation and operational procedure input.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent qualifications/experience).
  • •Several years of supervisory experience with the ability to lead and energize diverse teams while keeping safety at the heart of delivery.
  • •Commissioning experience in a relevant industry sector (typically at least 7 years of engineering experience if degree qualified, or 10+ years practical experience if trade discipline qualified).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural project team.
  • •Strong organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple project elements and day-to-day activities.
