Job Summary

Join RTX as a Sr. Systems Engineer supporting X-Band radar technology in the Long Range Radars division. You’ll lead radar data analysis, system integration, and verification/testing activities in a hands-on onsite role, collaborating with software and hardware teams, performing scenario-driven analyses, and coordinating with customers to ensure compliance with DoD processes and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in integration and test planning/execution, execute verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
•Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
•Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined milestones and schedules.
•Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities.
•Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in peer, gate, and test readiness processes.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux/Unix, and/or other programming languages.
•Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing.
•Active U.S. government security clearance (Secret - Current) and U.S. citizenship are required.
•Willingness to travel up to 10% locally and non-locally.
