Senior Data Scientist – Adversarial Response Team

Lead adversarial response efforts within a global web security team in Akamai’s Application Security organization. Investigate false-positive/false-negative cases and escalations by analyzing large-scale traffic data, behavioral signals, request signatures, and security telemetry. Develop targeted detection improvements—tuning rules, adjusting thresholds, and enhancing features—while identifying recurring detection gaps and emerging attack patterns. Serve as a technical bridge between customer-facing teams, security operations, and core data science researchers.
