Perform mobile maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in the field, including scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections. Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across electrical/brake/cooling systems, starters/alternators, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related components.
•Inspect, test, and road test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions; identify problems and determine accuracy/relevance using sound judgment.
•Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation, and obtain parts from approved vendors as needed.
•Document findings on repair orders (RO), upload pictures using a company iOS device and the TRAIT application, complete DOT forms and other documentation, and follow OSHA/EPA/DOT safety and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as 5 years’ related experience).
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months.
•Be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
•Hold a current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining (or be prepared to complete a DOT physical if less than or equal to four months).
