Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and proactively maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • •Partner with direct account teams to support sales strategy with briefings, demos, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and issue resolution.
  • •Understand customer security architecture and cyber security objectives to map customer priorities to Splunk product capabilities.
  • •Demonstrate Splunk security products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinars, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
  • •Respond to RFIs/RFPs and provide hands-on leadership to resolve technical and integration problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Splunk Certified Administrator (or sufficient knowledge to administer Splunk Enterprise and Splunk solutions).
  • •5+ years as a successful pre-sales engineer (SE), systems integrator, or equivalent experience within cybersecurity.
  • •Familiarity with current cyber threats, malware, incident response, SIEM, automation tools, and endpoint technology.
  • •Experience with installation/configuration/administration of enterprise systems including Windows and Unix/Linux; networking (firewalls, proxy, routing & switching); and enterprise software (AV, email, vulnerability management, TIP, database).
  • •Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus familiarity with scripting—particularly Python (industry certifications like SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM are highly desirable).
