Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • •Collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through concept scoping, trade studies, should-cost models, and joint design development with clear statements of work
  • •Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to enable flexible ramp and internal/external production
  • •Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and perform value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and supplier flexibility
  • •Conduct BOM risk assessments and supplier/component rationalization to minimize risk and reduce total cost of ownership

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
  • •6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • •Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
  • •Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
