Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver solutions using appropriate development methodologies, factoring operational security into system design, development, and testing.
  • •Mentor and collaborate with teams to produce high-assurance code, including peer reviews and knowledge sharing with junior team members.
  • •Design, develop, test, and document software aligned with business and industry best practices and customer requirements.
  • •Embrace emerging technologies, tools, and language trends while assessing associated risks and mitigations.
  • •Identify security flaws during solution design and implementation, and apply mitigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, debuggers, source control) and techniques such as unit testing, mocking, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
  • •Knowledge of high-assurance development principles and the importance of IT security for companies and governments.
  • •Intermediate to advanced understanding of computing principles (e.g., stack/heap distinction, compiled/interpreted languages).
  • •Proficiency with at least one solution language (e.g., C++, Java, C#, etc.) and one utility language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl, PowerShell).
  • •Ability to mentor others and/or lead technical tasks, with effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
