Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform highly complex field surveying and construction layout work, including marking and checking engineering computations.
  • •Inspect construction work and conduct field tests, maintaining inspection records and tracking QA progress.
  • •Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
  • •Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements through daily field inspections.
  • •Support punch lists, testing, and commissioning, and provide input to documentation for area/equipment turnovers.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma plus 8 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive to project sites, with a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Preferred: 4 years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
  • •Preferred CEI certifications/training including CTQP and IMSA (e.g., CTQP Final Estimates Level I, Asphalt Roadway Level I/II, Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I/II).
