Job Summary

Maintain and update standard costs in the company’s ERP system and perform COGS variance analysis. Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliations and WIP/E&O-related accruals. Run weekly production and costing analyses (WO/MO, PPV, yield, scrap, rework, floor stock) and investigate GL vs. perpetual variances. Partner with operations and manufacturing to control and review materials, labor, overhead, and inventory transactions.

Key Responsibilities

•Create monthly costs entries for General Ledger closings and reconciliations.
•Prepare cost and inventory account analysis reports, balancing, and reconciliation to the General Ledger and subsidiary accounts.
•Run weekly variance analyses (WO/MO, PPV, yield, rework, floor stock, scrap, INV adjustments) and research/fix variances as needed.
•Perform GL vs. perpetual pre-close/post-close reconciliation, including research, reclass, or fixes to WO.
•Complete month-end inventory reconciliation and support closing (INV batch, inventory in transit, WIP accruals, usage tax accruals) and E&O-related reviews.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 81,900 - 122,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment with Standard Cost experience.
•Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
•Excellent follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
•Computer skills including Excel are required.
