Job Summary

Support the sales organization with hands-on technical pre-sales work and participation in sales calls. Key Responsibilities

•Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint during pre-sales.
•Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/elect customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
•Apply strong knowledge of networking applications and solutions to support sales efforts.
•Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
•Support the sales organization with technical matters related to pre-sales and sales calls.

Key Requirements

•5–8 years of technical pre-sales support experience as a sales or systems engineer.
•5–8 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
•Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
•Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus.
•Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, and relevant encryption/auth protocols; ability to present and communicate effectively in English.
