Key Responsibilities

  • •Map Ameren property rights (interests) in ArcGIS Pro and deliver mapped interests to Ameren Real Estate’s GIS technician.
  • •Use Ameren Real Estate’s database to locate interests and read legal documents/real estate legal descriptions.
  • •Provide analysis or use GIS tools to identify property rights for the Real Estate Department.
  • •Review GIS data for quality control/quality assurance and assist with documenting work practices.
  • •Visit sites in the field to collect data, verify Ameren records, and interact with contractors to evaluate/confirm data validity.

Key Requirements

  • •Current student status pursuing a degree in GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • •Minimum 2.5 GPA (3.0 preferred).
  • •Knowledge and/or use of Esri ArcGIS Pro is highly preferred.
  • •Exceptional with Microsoft Office applications.
  • •Willing to engage and learn real estate in addition to GIS, and able to work through decisions with incomplete information.
