Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze system capabilities and end-user needs to resolve problems in line with program intent, input data acquisition, and output requirements.
  • •Design, develop, document, test, and support software design control/diagnostic systems and build procedures for product development.
  • •Collaborate on multidisciplinary planning, design, development, and use of electronic data processing systems for product/commercial software.
  • •Develop and standardize software configuration and quality practices, including training developers on configuration management and model-based design.
  • •Operate computer and equipment systems for testing and software design to ensure objectives are achieved, and protect novel ideas via IP processes and tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electrical/Electronics/Avionics/Aerospace or related + 8 years’ progressive software engineering experience, or Master’s + 5 years.
  • •5+ years developing software for safety-critical embedded software using high-level languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • •5+ years using MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and simulation.
  • •5+ years of DO-178B/C development experience.
  • •5+ years in the avionics industry, including at least 2 years leading a project.
