Job Summary

Work on delivering an AI-driven building controls solution by mapping client data to internal standards and deploying energy-efficiency algorithms across HVAC systems. Use Python scripts and a front-end UI to support digitalization work, test and deploy algorithms, and share deployment reports with stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally during onboarding and handoffs, understand building hierarchy and point naming, and maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Use Python scripts and a front-end user interface to support the digitalization and development of projects.
•Test and deploy algorithms for project deployment, and share the resulting reports with stakeholders.
•Own key parts of project handoff and algorithm deployment to ensure timely completion of deployments.
•Understand building hierarchy and point names/tags, and support configuration and control changes needed for buildings.
•Engage cross-functionally with teams to facilitate building deployments and onboarding, document work processes, and support post-deployment handoff and client value-add services.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in building or mechanical engineering (or technical degree in a related field) with 2 to 4 years of experience in building automation and HVAC control systems.
•In-depth knowledge of building HVAC equipment and familiarity with the diverse range found in buildings.
•Practical experience with DDC (Direct Digital Control), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), or similar programming in BAS (Building Automation System) and HVAC control.
•Familiarity with building management system protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
•Understanding of basic control practices and proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
