Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and transform large data volumes.
  • •Deploy and optimize data processing across data platforms and orchestration tools (e.g., DataFlow/Beam, DataProc/Hadoop/Spark, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer/Airflow).
  • •Implement data storage solutions including warehouses, data lakes, and NoSQL databases, and modernize existing lake/warehouse systems.
  • •Collaborate with data architects and data science/analytics stakeholders to build efficient data models and support advanced analytics and machine learning.
  • •Ensure data quality through monitoring and quality checks, and troubleshoot data-related issues to minimize disruption to business operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar (Master’s is a plus).
  • •Previous experience as a data engineer or similar role (GCP is preferable).
  • •Strong data engineering fundamentals: data models, ETL, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
  • •Proficiency in programming (Python, Java, or Scala) plus SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • •Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery), with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
