Job Summary

Support construction and paving projects as an Asphalt Laborer by working in a utility capacity across site tasks. Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and using appropriate tools/equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment.
•Assist the construction/paving crew with duties such as shoveling, raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
•Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials placement, and follow the Foreman’s direction for daily tasks.
•Assist with placement, moving, and dismantling of traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is preferred.
•Previous related experience in the construction field is preferred.
•Must be 18 years of age or older.

•Must follow safety requirements and OSHA/MSHA procedures, including PPE use and PPE examples (face shield, safety hard-toe shoes, coveralls).
