Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • •Analyze equipment malfunctions and perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on heavy construction equipment.
  • •Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects; dismantle and reassemble equipment using tools and hoists.
  • •Replace defective components (e.g., engines, transmissions, motors, drums, seals, hydraulic pumps/valves, pistons/rods/gears).
  • •Perform inspections and tests on overhauled equipment for operating efficiency, including record keeping of time and parts used.

Key Requirements

  • •Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

  • •Extensive experience in truck and/or heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • •Two-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
