Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across offshore geotechnical engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • •Lead offshore geotechnical site investigation planning, specification, management, and execution, including offshore vessel campaigns, sampling, and laboratory testing programs.
  • •Process, interpret, and integrate geotechnical, geological, and geophysical datasets to develop robust offshore ground models.
  • •Lead geotechnical design and assessment for offshore foundations and provide specialist input for subsea pipelines, flowlines, umbilicals, and cables.
  • •Act as Project Manager and/or Technical Lead to ensure delivery to scope, budget, and schedule, while preparing client deliverables and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
  • •Extensive experience in offshore geotechnical engineering, ideally within consulting environments supporting Oil & Gas developments.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading offshore geotechnical investigations and site characterisation programmes.
  • •Strong expertise in offshore foundation design, soil-structure interaction, and subsea infrastructure assessments.
  • •Knowledge of offshore industry standards and recommended practices including API, ISO, and DNV frameworks.
