Job Summary

Establish and scale product, data, and API governance for the Insurance Platform, ensuring consistent decision-making that enables fast platform adoption while protecting shared assets. Own governance frameworks, standards, and lifecycle oversight, and run operating models and forums for intake, reviews, escalations, and exceptions. Partner across Platform Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, and Compliance to align governance with regulatory, privacy, and quality requirements and drive adoption through enablement and education.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the governance framework for the Insurance Platform, including product onboarding, data usage, API standards, and shared platform assets.
•Establish decision rights and guardrails to reduce ambiguity and rework while accelerating delivery.
•Ensure platform-wide consistency across data definitions, schema evolution, versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation policies.
•Design and operate the governance model (intake processes, review forums, escalation paths, and exception management) and lead governance forums.
•Provide governance oversight across the product lifecycle and align with regulatory, privacy, security, and data quality requirements while enabling adoption through education and measurement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 136,100 - 252,800 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in product management, data governance, platform governance, or large-scale technology platforms.
•Experience operating in platform-based or API-driven environments, preferably in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
•Deep understanding of product onboarding, data models, API standards, and platform operating models.
•Proven ability to design and run governance that scales with growth and modernization.
•Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve governance processes and decision-making.
