Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage engineering pods by ensuring clear goals, structured interactions/scheduling, performance management, onboarding, and retention decisions.
  • •Unblock and accelerate pods to build new features end to end across back end and front end.
  • •Collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to define projects, contribute to architecture, and support work breakdown, scheduling, and release planning.
  • •Communicate delivery status and progress to senior management in an agile development environment.
  • •Mentor junior and mid/senior staff, drive interviewing/onboarding efforts, and contribute to coding standards, technical debt refinement, and system security monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Have led one or more teams as both a technical lead and people manager in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • •System design experience focused on solutions that can be implemented incrementally while scaling for resilience.
  • •Real-world programming experience in Ruby, Python, or JavaScript/node.js.
  • •MVC framework experience such as Rails, Django, or Pyramid.
  • •3+ years in a manager role and 10+ years of hands-on development experience.
