Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead assigned team of B1 engineers to ensure safe, efficient aircraft maintenance and repair in line with airline and regulatory requirements.
  • •Oversee Category C authorization work: verify tasks meet required standards, allocate tasks, monitor shift progress, and provide guidance and feedback to engineers and technicians.
  • •Perform B1 certifying engineering duties: prepare and complete scheduled maintenance per task cards, conduct test/inspection tasks, and troubleshoot/rectify defects according to maintenance manuals and instructions.
  • •Maintain compliance and safety: ensure all safety measures, working procedures, and applicable rules are followed during maintenance activities and assignments.
  • •Initiate cost-saving projects within B1 scope and manage human factors to protect continuity of critical maintenance tasks using proper handover procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License (unrestricted) and company approvals on the Airbus A320/A321, with 2+ years of experience.
  • •2+ years as a B1 Engineer in ABY Base/Hangar Maintenance, including 1 year in a team-leading capacity with Category C authorization experience.
  • •Ability to lead and guide aircraft engineers and technicians.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • •Fluent English (verbal and written).
