Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and execute IT SOX 404 assessments, including risk assessment, walkthroughs, and testing of IT General Controls (e.g., access management, logical security settings, change management, computer operations).
  • •Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of ITGCs; maintain up-to-date IT SOX narratives and process flowcharts.
  • •Conduct IT general control testing across inscope servers and databases, including privilege user access review, logical security settings, backup scheduling/monitoring, and backup integrity.
  • •Perform reviews of the adequacy of IT controls and internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations (SOX, SOC 1/2, ISO, NIST).
  • •Present engagement findings to management, discuss deficiencies, recommend remediation actions, and assist with issue closure; support external auditors and ad-hoc engagements as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related IT fields (Chartered Accountant or related IT graduates also considered).
  • •Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification preferred.
  • •Minimum 6 years’ combined experience in IT SOX compliance with strong exposure to SOX framework and internal controls reviews.
  • •Knowledge of IT domains including automated controls testing, system development lifecycle (SDLC), SOC-1 report review, and identity/access management at application and operating system levels.
  • •Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook; demonstrated independent thinking and accurate multitasking under deadlines.
