Key Responsibilities

•Gathering, analyzing and checking of functional and technical requirements; implement requirements in the given technical design.
•Develop, maintain, optimize, and service software or application components; ensure maintainability and operational stability of the software.
•Work in agile teams and contribute to software engineering methods; pay attention to performance, data security, IT security, and usability.
•Collaborate with business experts/analysts and designers; participate in code reviews and ensure quality delivery.
•Ensure the software handles life-insurance processes globally and supports international teams, including German-speaking colleagues.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in object-oriented application development
•5+ years of experience with common development environments, test methods and software engineering tools (Eclipse, JUnit, Jira, etc.)
•Completed studies in mathematics or (business) computer science (FH, BA) or comparable qualification
•Excellent SQL knowledge
•Fluent in written and spoken German (advantage)
