Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide concept to detailed design leadership for HSE engineering, overseeing safety analyses, design basis, and standards compliance
  • •Direct cross-functional teams on complex projects, ensuring interfaces, deliverables, and schedules are aligned with project goals
  • •Lead safety studies, fire protection, and safety systems design, including coordination with customers and regulatory authorities
  • •Mentor and develop engineers, manage discipline resources, and communicate project status to management
  • •Prepare and review technical documentation, bids, and change notices; ensure adherence to McDermott procedures and global standards

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • •20+ years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants predominantly performing detail design
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society as applicable
  • •Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and detailed knowledge of the theory, content, and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable to offshore
  • •Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills
