Key Responsibilities

  • •Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
  • •Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks and become a champion on architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the platform.
  • •Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to build the Databricks community in your region.
  • •Grow your knowledge to become a technical and/or industry specialist.
  • •Engage customers in technical sales, challenge questions, guide outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with coding in a core programming language (Python, Java, or Scala) and willingness to learn Spark
  • •Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies and hands-on experience with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms
  • •Ability to discover use cases, scope projects, and deliver complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences
  • •Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams (e.g., account executives)
  • •Engagement in technical sales, guiding outcomes, and communicating technical/value propositions
