Job Summary

Senior Project Manager for public-sector projects will lead all facets of project delivery (scope, budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk) from planning through closeout. You’ll interface with clients and consultants, drive governance and reporting, manage resources and SOX controls where applicable, and identify opportunities for process improvements on municipal/K-12/higher-ed programs.

Job Function: Program & Project Management (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

•Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual projects from planning through closeout.
•Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages to ensure alignment and expectations.
•Develop and maintain the detailed project plan and monitor performance metrics and budget status.
•Oversee change control processes and ensure timely client invoicing and financial reporting.
•Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement in PM procedures and templates.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field
•CCM certification and/or PMP or PgMP certification preferred
•Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in design/construction on public-sector projects (municipal or K-12)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and analytical abilities
•Ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff and manage stakeholder relationships across client and cross-functional teams
