Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain the plant refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • •Clean/wash ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof, including changing filters and cleaning the roof area.
  • •Shadow Refrigeration Techs to be trained in ammonia refrigeration systems and be considered for future Refrigeration Tech openings.
  • •Create maintenance notifications and work orders, and confirm time into the SAP system.
  • •Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work in hot/cold/wet environments.
  • •Lift/push/pull over 40 lbs. and climb ladders above 10 feet.
  • •Ability to walk and stand about 8.5 hours/day on concrete floors.
  • •Must pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical, be clean shaven for APR/SCBA fit, and be on the Plant Hazmat Team.
  • •Vocational HVAC trade training in industrial/commercial refrigeration; must complete refrigeration and general maintenance computer-based training.
