Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features to be verified.
  • •Build test plan documentation covering interactions across hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
  • •Develop directed and random verification tests and estimate effort for new feature test development and test environment changes.
  • •Debug test failures to determine root cause and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects.
  • •Review and improve functional and code coverage by modifying or adding tests and constraining random tests as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in IP-level ASIC verification and debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.
  • •Hands-on experience with UVM testbenches and verification concepts, including SystemVerilog.
  • •Experience building directed and random verification tests and using functional and code coverage metrics to guide changes.
  • •Strong programming skills with Verilog/SystemVerilog plus C and C++, and scripting experience such as Perl, Ruby, Makefile, or shell.
  • •Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
