Key Responsibilities

  • •Support HSSE corporate programs, including documentation reviews and updates, campaign support, new initiative support, and day-to-day tasks.
  • •Assist in developing and rolling out HSSE programs, policies, and processes.
  • •Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide guidance on HSE topics to support operations.
  • •Maintain documentation in Bookshelf and support redevelopment on the HSSE SharePoint site.
  • •Attend monthly safety meetings in the field.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s degree program (preferably Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Management, Environmental Science/Management, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety Engineering, or a related field).
  • •Must be returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
  • •Available to work full-time in the Calgary office for the duration of the 4-month work term.
  • •Ability and willingness to travel to Alberta field locations for primarily day trips and occasional overnight visits.
  • •Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license (or equivalent) preferred.
