Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive dump trucks to and from jobsites and position the truck for loading by a loader or plant operator/storage bin.
  • •Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, including basic operational checks and cleaning as needed.
  • •Make normal operating adjustments and perform oil/grease/service tasks on the truck.
  • •Lower the bed to enable loading, then drive again as required by site operations.
  • •Occasionally lift and/or move 10 to 30 lbs and manage transported materials as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Drive a tri-axle or single/multi-axle dump truck in a construction environment.
  • •3 years of related experience operating dump trucks (as stated).
  • •Hold a Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) with necessary endorsements per 49 CFR 383.91 (Group B heavy straight vehicle or Group A combination).
  • •Can perform pre- and post-trip inspections (oil, water, horn, lights, tires, windshield/wipers, fire extinguisher, fuel, seat belt) and normal operating adjustments.
  • •Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, lift/move 10–30 lbs occasionally, and communicate effectively as a team player.
