Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • •Research, develop, and integrate robotics, automation, and new technologies into equipment and tooling for program applicability.
  • •Develop and implement testing and acceptance processes; create documentation, preventative maintenance plans, and train personnel as needed.
  • •Create and maintain PLC logic (ladder logic, FBD, structured text) and collaborate with mechanical/electrical engineers to integrate control systems.
  • •Diagnose and resolve equipment control issues remotely and onsite, and develop equipment reliability improvements using reliability engineering practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •2+ years of experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment for Associate (Level 2).
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and control system design.
  • •Proficiency with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation), Siemens, or similar.
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
