Key Responsibilities

  • •Deputise for a senior company employee within the Typhoon Maintenance Organisation, providing line management responsibilities and functional direction and guidance within the Personal Survival Pack shop.
  • •Uphold a safety-first approach by implementing and promoting SHE and Product Safety & Environment requirements, including anti-FOD surveillance and hazard reporting.
  • •Ensure compliance with BAE Systems Operational Framework, LCM practices, Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness mandates, MOE, and RSAF Logistics Management Regulations.
  • •Review maintenance activities, challenge current practices, identify improvements/capacity, and ensure tasks meet timeframes and quality standards (including accurate recording in ESS).
  • •Maintain readiness of shop equipment and authorisations, ensure correct tooling and approved data are available, escalate deficiencies (e.g., approved data issues, consumables & PPE) using the appropriate media, and provide training/partner development to RSAF and BAE Systems personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or equivalent technical apprenticeship/qualification) in a relevant technical discipline acceptable to M&CA.
  • •At least 7 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment with formal recorded workplace applied related training, or 3 years on the same aircraft type.
  • •Leadership skills with proven ability to supervise engineering personnel, including holding 2nd signature.
  • •Obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level prior to starting the role and throughout employment in KSA.
  • •Provide training/delivery capabilities (e.g., workplace training) aligned with maintenance procedures and standards.
