Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, size, and evaluate contract-specific electro-hydraulic control systems for ship loading arms, and optimize and develop control solutions.
  • •Identify requirements from customer specifications and implement them considering budget and timelines.
  • •Independently execute customer orders including drawings, bills of materials, and descriptions; coordinate external partners; plan and support test execution.
  • •Prepare and implement make-or-buy decisions for (partial) insourcing of electro-hydraulic control systems.
  • •After onboarding, take over leadership of the control department (4 employees) and shape an innovative team; support sales with targeted offers.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable training.
  • •Relevant professional experience with electro-hydraulic control systems.
  • •Experience designing and analyzing control systems with functional safety (SIL, IEC 61508/IEC 61511).
  • •Knowledge of SPS programming.
  • •Strong German and English skills.
