Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and specification development of track designs for New England Transit/Track projects.
  • •Oversee preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, design packages, and cost estimates for transit/rail projects.
  • •Develop and maintain strong client relationships and lead rail pursuits.
  • •Mentor midlevel and junior track engineers and coordinate multi-project efforts.
  • •Perform field track inspections and manage work within the ROW for multiple projects.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of related rail/transit experience or demonstrated equivalent
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in MA or ability to reciprocity
  • •Experience with MBTA subway and commuter rail plus freight experience
  • •Preferred: 10+ years with New England rail/transit clients
  • •Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with FRA, DOT, AREMA criteria
