Key Responsibilities

  • •Scope, manage, perform, and analyze metallurgical testwork and support geometallurgy.
  • •Provide input into design of the Hermosa processing plant and supporting infrastructure, and review engineering firm deliverables.
  • •Evaluate new and emerging processing technologies and participate in HAZOPs and engineering model reviews.
  • •Develop SOPs and help train new operators, technicians, and metallurgists; support operations readiness and commissioning.
  • •Analyze metallurgical data, prepare technical reports, maintain process KPIs, and drive metallurgical/process improvement projects while supporting health and safety programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •3+ years’ experience as a Metallurgical or Process Engineer in a mineral processing plant.
  • •Knowledge of comminution, flotation, and solid-liquid separation.
  • •Experience with modelling and simulation software such as METSIM, JKSinMet, or SysCAD.
  • •Ability to read technical drawings such as Process Flow Diagrams and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (preferred).
