Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and evolve B2B server-side services for TikTok Open Platform, creating standardized reusable platform capabilities for developers and ecosystem partners.
  • •Design core domain models and storage architecture, including partition strategies, read/write pipelines, hot/cold tiering, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • •Build and secure open capability frameworks including API gateways, authentication, RBAC/ABAC permissions, multi-tenant isolation, quotas/rate limiting, audit logging, and risk controls.
  • •Design and deploy high-availability, scalable distributed systems, implementing consistency, idempotency, fault tolerance, circuit breaking, degradation, async processing, and disaster recovery.
  • •Use AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate engineering efficiency across analysis, schema design, coding, testing, code review, documentation, and live incident troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of server-side software engineering experience with B2B systems or large-scale developer platforms (targeting Senior/L3).
  • •Strong mastery of Go, Java, or Python with solid concurrent programming and network/runtime understanding.
  • •In-depth knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases, caches, and search engines, including indexing, sharding, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • •Strong distributed systems fundamentals (consensus, availability, idempotency, retries, message reliability, rate limiting, circuit breaking).
  • •Practical experience integrating AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) into daily workflows and understanding LLM/RAG/Function Calling/Agents/MCP concepts for safe AI integration.
