Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential mortgage loans from application through closing and meet sales and cross-selling objectives.
•Develop referral source relationships and foster a sales culture within the team.
•Manage daily production for at least 5 Mortgage Loan Originators using local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs.
•Conduct business plan reviews and build strategic and tactical plans to drive volume growth in the assigned area.
•Ensure compliance and quality by monitoring adherence to state/federal regulations, bank policies, and customer service standards (including acting as intermediary for loan issues).

Key Requirements

•Manage a team and provide timely, candid performance feedback, coaching, and development for Mortgage Loan Originators.
•2-4 years residential mortgage sales experience.
•In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio mortgage guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Ability to comply with federal lending regulations and bank policies while leading by example with integrity.
