Key Responsibilities

•Provide IT systems administration support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
•Manage and maintain core services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), and server replication.
•Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues involving integration of hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
•Implement and manage data RAID, backup, and recovery technologies; install, configure, and document requested applications.
•Provide user and system documentation, process training, ongoing technical support, and participate in on-call or after-hours maintenance for 24x7 operations.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
•At least 2 years of experience with Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, MySQL, and/or Windows or Linux system administration and network administration.
•Ability to meet DoD 8140/8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
•Experience supporting DNS/DHCP/AD, and troubleshooting moderate to complex integration issues across hardware, OS, and applications.
