Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist other Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure animal welfare.
  • •Feeds, waters, vaccinates, and performs general animal husbandry tasks, including basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Helps with moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows; processes piglets including injecting medications, castration, docking, and ear notching.
  • •Sanitizes and washes multiple farm areas using high pressure equipment; treats sick animals using appropriate pharmaceuticals and methods.
  • •Maintains accurate production information and updates department records; assists with facility/equipment maintenance and supports barn cleanliness and laundry duties.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.75 hourly
