Job Summary

Repair and perform preventative maintenance on tactical ground support equipment (GSE), completing initial/final inspections in accordance with AR 750-1. Diagnose malfunctions, study drawings/wiring diagrams/schematics, and use testing instruments and hand tools to complete repairs. Maintain and update paper and electronic equipment and vehicle records, prepare GSE for storage and mobility deployment, and support dispatch while following housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform repairs and preventative maintenance, including initial and final inspections, on tactical GSE equipment in accordance with AR 750-1.
•Diagnose malfunctions and repair GSE using technical publications and schematics; inspect and approve completed maintenance actions.
•Advise and train lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex maintenance problems.
•Use automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.
•Prepare GSE for storage and mobility deployment; operate, clean, inspect, and service GSE towing vehicles and provide dispatch support with good housekeeping, tool control, FOD prevention, and safety at all times.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 34.54 hourly

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience maintaining ground support equipment (GSE).
•Extremely knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
•Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background screening.
•Good verbal and written communication skills and Microsoft Office skills.
•Refrigerant Recycling and Recovery Certification (and ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result).
