Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate broadcast television services using Vyvx fiber optic networks, satellite, teleport, and vendor facilities while meeting service level standards.
  • •Schedule and switch broadcast signals into the control center for visual confirmation; confirm valid broadcast signals from source and validate services to clients.
  • •Ensure system connectivity for broadcast transmission and verify correct video/audio levels prior to transmission, particularly HD-SDI, UHD, and 4K.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair connectivity, equipment, outages, interference, and other network issues; provide trouble ticket resolution and document actions taken.
  • •Connect/disconnect routing macros for ordered videos, record connection paths in the transmission database, and create/monitor customer ordered transmissions from origination to destination.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
  • •May require technical certification.
  • •3+ years of experience with IP network functions such as MPLS, Internet, Ethernet, and Managed Services signal flow.
