Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture of the InDesign API and InDesign Server platform, including orchestration, rendering pipelines, and render-fleet scaling.
  • •Lead technical strategy to migrate InDesign Server customers and partners onto the API platform, closing capability and performance gaps.
  • •Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services for internal and external integrations at scale.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using established frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot).
  • •Set engineering direction for reliability and observability, guide initiatives end-to-end, and mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of industry experience with deep enterprise-scale platform expertise and strong architectural ownership.
  • •Strong proficiency in enterprise frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot, Java EE, or equivalent.
  • •Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) across compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
  • •Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • •Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases and practical experience supporting production systems (monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response).
