Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver high-quality IT instruction in the General Studies programme in line with QTI policies, procedures, and curriculum requirements.
  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that address diverse student needs, using effective classroom management strategies.
  • •Assess student learning using formative and summative methods, and provide timely oral and written feedback.
  • •Contribute to curriculum development, review, and enhancement; participate in lesson observations, feedback processes, and professional development.
  • •Maintain accurate student and administrative records, follow reporting and performance management processes, and comply with QTI health, safety, and environmental (SHE) policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold qualified teacher status or a relevant education and training qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., M.Ed., MA, BA, Diploma, or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Digital Skills Training, Education, or a related field.
  • •Relevant experience teaching IT subjects to international students across different contexts.
  • •Knowledge and experience teaching Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Email Applications, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other essential digital literacy/office productivity applications.
  • •Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with commitment to cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • •Ability to use teaching and administrative technologies effectively; experience within a military setting and teaching experience in the Middle East are desirable.
