Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively contribute to departmental goals and the long-term technology roadmap by leading team initiatives to improve processes aligned with delivery objectives.
  • •Define and deliver high-quality computational fluid dynamics models to guide streamlined design iterations.
  • •Mentor the team on effective and efficient CFD approaches and simulation model accuracy.
  • •Verify fluid performance using established test methodologies and develop new test methods to confirm product function and thermal protection.
  • •Take charge of fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for assigned projects, ensuring execution from start to finish with accountability for requirements and regular progress/risk updates.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development, preferably in the consumer electrical appliance industry.
  • •In-depth knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
  • •Knowledge and working experience with flow measurement techniques such as PIV, shadowgraphy, and pressure transducers.
  • •Advanced experience with computational fluid dynamics and meshing tools such as Fluent/OpenFOAM and ANSA meshing.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical engineering (or equivalent), with a Master’s preferred.
