Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture, process, and timely close quality complaints (internal and external), including root-cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
  • •Prepare and release quality and failure analysis reports (e.g., 8D), inspection records, and test reports.
  • •Analyze recurring quality issues and drive sustained removal through action plans (e.g., EZDP, CAPA) with follow-up.
  • •Analyze quality-relevant KPIs and metrics, support continuous improvement, and prepare materials tied to Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Quality Leading Indicators (QLI), and TIER meetings.
  • •Plan and perform internal and external audits (e.g., LPA, special process, system audits per EN 9100; external audits such as NADCAP and re-certification), and support first article inspections (FAI/FAIR).

Key Requirements

  • •Completed technical degree (Bachelor, Master, or Dipl.-Ing.) in relevant fields such as aerospace, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or industrial engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • •Several years of experience in quality management, ideally in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
  • •Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 9100, and AS9100, with ideally experience related to EASA and FAA requirements.
  • •Practical experience with first article inspection documentation (FAI/FAIR) per EN/AS 9102 and quality tools/methods such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
  • •Knowledge of auditing techniques and experience with internal audits (preferred), plus structured, analytical, solution-oriented working style and strong communication in German and English.
