Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the infrastructure support queue, responding within 15 minutes and targeting resolutions in hours rather than days.
  • •Resolve end-to-end procedural requests including access, permissions, capacity, licence installs, host rebuilds, DNS records, and runner/repository administration.
  • •Apply infrastructure changes via Terraform and Ansible in the infra repository using pull requests.
  • •Build self-service tooling and automations for common request types to remove blockers and reduce repeat work.
  • •Write and maintain runbooks for incidents affecting core infrastructure; monitor capacity and licence expiry; escalate to infrastructure engineering when appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of Linux administration on Ubuntu or RHEL, including users/permissions, filesystems/storage, networking, SSH, and remote desktop.
  • •Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Secrets Manager.
  • •Ability to read and change existing Terraform and Ansible code, working through pull requests.
  • •GitHub administration experience (organizations, repositories, permissions, Actions runners).
  • •Experience supporting an infrastructure ticket queue with response and resolution targets and maintaining clear runbooks/documentation.
