Build and optimize standardized, secure machine images for GPU Bare Metal, GPU droplet (VM), and CPU droplet environments. Automate the image creation lifecycle using tools like Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to package and continuously test GPU images, maintain GPU driver compatibility matrices, and ensure security hardening, patching, and compliance while improving performance, size, and boot time.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, maintain, and optimize standardized, secure machine images across cloud platforms.
•Automate the image creation lifecycle, ensuring image integrity and reliable image testing and deployment.
•Partner with stakeholders on GPU image packaging and continuously test images across platform services, including driver compatibility matrices.
•Apply security and compliance practices to harden images, manage patching, and meet standards such as CIS benchmarks, GDPR, and HIPAA.
•Integrate image creation into CI/CD pipelines, monitor image performance, troubleshoot deployment/runtime issues, and optimize performance, size, and boot time.

•Strong experience building Linux operating system images and machine images.
•Deep GPU infrastructure knowledge and experience with GPU-related testing frameworks (e.g., NCCL, RCCL) in fabric-connected environments.
•Hands-on experience automating image pipelines using Packer, cloud-init, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
•Familiarity integrating image creation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
•Strong security knowledge for image building, including hardening, patch management, CVE scanning, and secrets management.
