Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, maintain, and optimize standardized, secure machine images across cloud platforms.
  • •Automate the image creation lifecycle, ensuring image integrity and reliable image testing and deployment.
  • •Partner with stakeholders on GPU image packaging and continuously test images across platform services, including driver compatibility matrices.
  • •Apply security and compliance practices to harden images, manage patching, and meet standards such as CIS benchmarks, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • •Integrate image creation into CI/CD pipelines, monitor image performance, troubleshoot deployment/runtime issues, and optimize performance, size, and boot time.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience building Linux operating system images and machine images.
  • •Deep GPU infrastructure knowledge and experience with GPU-related testing frameworks (e.g., NCCL, RCCL) in fabric-connected environments.
  • •Hands-on experience automating image pipelines using Packer, cloud-init, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
  • •Familiarity integrating image creation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
