Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the legal team with platform work regulations by mitigating legal risks and enabling Delivery Hero’s long-term growth.
  • •Oversee courier classification risks across the world and provide subject matter expertise internally and to management.
  • •Monitor high-profile litigations and regulatory investigations and devise defense strategies for Italy and other markets.
  • •Stay on top of legislative developments affecting platform work and act as a strategic ally to Public Policy teams in HQ and markets.
  • •Partner with Product, Tech, and Ops teams using deep knowledge of tech stack and delivery operations to build the next generation of delivery apps.

Key Requirements

  • •Be an Italian qualified employment lawyer with at least 6 years of experience in employment law matters, ideally in both law firm and in-house environments.
  • •Have litigation experience and have advised on, or be passionate about, gig-economy and platform-work related matters.
  • •Demonstrate strong understanding of adjacent legal/regulatory areas including procedural rules, social security, tax, data protection, immigration, and commercial contracts.
  • •Be able to draft legal documents and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders.
  • •Communicate effectively in English and Italian (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills.
