Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply and tailor systems engineering lifecycle processes to project scope, complexity, risk, and delivery model.
  • •Define systems using stakeholder/operational needs, develop System Breakdown Structure (SBS), and perform functional decomposition and boundary setting.
  • •Manage requirements end to end (elicitation through traceability, baselining, compliance, and verification), including maintaining RVTMs.
  • •Develop functional and physical architectures, allocate functions/requirements to elements, and identify and manage system interfaces and dependencies.
  • •Plan and execute systems integration (dependencies, sequencing, risks/constraints), assess change impacts, and provide senior input to design/technical reviews; mentor teams and contribute to client proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualification in engineering, systems engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
  • •Demonstrated delivery of systems engineering on complex projects (transport, infrastructure, technology, or safety-critical environments).
  • •Proficiency in requirements engineering and management (IBM DOORS/DOORS Next or similar), including RVTMs.
  • •Experience with systems architecture and System Breakdown Structure (SBS) development.
  • •Understanding of verification and validation across the lifecycle.
